When you provide access to apps, Chinese apps can get all your information like location, camera, microphone, contacts, and it got saved in their portal. They can keep it, till they wanted to and also if you deactivate your ac still they can get access to your information. It is the rule in china that, all the companies have to submit their user’s data to the Chinese government. While India is facing tension at galwan valley of Ladakh with china then earlier GOI told army personals and all others from the defence ministry to delete these apps for their safety and protection as it can get access to their information which will be harmful to the one who is safeguarding the nation.

If you take the example of TikTok, a video making app of china which is quite popular in India. When we download the app, they want us to grant the permission and get access to our location although it will not show you to grant permission for the site they take access with the help of your sim card which proves to be quite dangerous for you if you are using net banking with that phone only. They can use it or even store it to misuse it later. In short, it will harm you in any way possible. So, this is just an example of one app, and there are 58 others which can steal your data and your money, passwords, contacts, location will be in danger.

How it will impact china?

China always tries to harm India and continuously strive to wage war with the nation. So, this is one of the best moves to teach them a lesson by attacking their economy, and it will maintain privacy too. China has to suffer more because of these apps being banned in India. Back in 2019, TikTok earned more than 1200 hundred crores from just India, and also Chinese apps makes around almost 30-40% of their profit from India only. Indian app economy valued over 800 million of Chinese apps only. Shein, club factory, like video, also earning in millions from just India only. Chinese people and government left shocked and surprised when they heard the news of India banning their apps and requested India to bring it back. This is just a perfect tribute to all the soldiers who were martyred while fighting with china.

How it will impact India?

There are various influencers in India which depends on TikTok and like for earning while they also make money by promoting other Chinese apps. Influencers who worked hard on gaining the followers their efforts won’t fail because the skill, and talent is not just confined to any app. If you have talent and dedication, you will find a way for it. And for each and every citizen of India, the nation must be the first priority. Other than that, there are various Indian alternatives you can use, which helps you to express your talent, and it will be beneficial for Indian companies too. Other than that, India is also making a lot of money from these apps by granting permissions and so on. But on the other hand, it encourages Indian apps and Indians to look up to these Indian alternatives for their use.

So, this is the best decision taken by the Indian government so far as it protects the privacy of its users and also to teach china a lesson that not to mess with Indians.
