Introduction


                    Sikkim is one of the seven sisters of northeast India. Sikkim is located in the Himalayan mountains. Sikkim is small, but it is one of the most mesmerizing places to visit in India. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim. It borders Tibet in the north,  Bhutan in the east, and Nepal in the west. Sikkim is located close to India's Siliguri Corridor near Bangladesh. Sikkim is the least populated state of India.

 1. Khangchendzonga National Park.


           Khangchendzonga national park is one of the most important and vital reasons to visit Sikkim. It was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in July 2016, becoming the first "Mixed Heritage" site of India. It is 8,586 meters tall, the third-highest peak in the world. It also experiences heavy snowfall between May to October.

 2.    Gangtok.

                 Gangtok is not only the capital of Kashmir but also one of the fantastic places to visit in Sikkim. The best time to visit Gangtok is between March to April and October to November. Gangtok is home to beautiful Buddhist monasteries like Rumtek and Enchey. It has many breathtaking sightseeing places like Nathula Pass and Tsomgo Lake. The one who enjoys trekking and mountains must visit this place.

 3.    yuksom. 


       It is the origin of few treks in Himalayas and Kanchenjunga. yuksom is known for its mindblowing historical places. The central locations of the town include historical monuments, ancient monasteries, tranquil waterfalls, and serene lakes. yuksom was earlier the capital of Sikkim. The best time to visit Yuksom is from March to June and September to October.

 4.    Tsomgo lake.


          Tsomgo lake is situated in Gangtok, Sikkim. Whenever you are visiting Gangtok, don't miss the chance of visiting the beautiful tsomgo lake. Tsomgo lake is also known as a changing lake. It lies at an altitude of 12,400ft. The best time to visit this place is in summer because it is frozen during winter and we cannot be able to take its beautiful sight during winter. But you need a special permit to visit this place which is to be obtained from the Sikkim tourism department.

 5.   Namchi



           
                     Namchi is the southern capital of Sikkim. The main attraction of namchi is its pleasant weather and many other religious places. Siddheswara Dhaam is a beautiful spiritual place along with Kirateshwar Mahadev and Shirdi Sai Baba temple. Namchi Monastery, Ralang Monastery
