 Introduction.

And, if IPL would organize in India, fans can’t control and it becomes difficult for BCCI and security, to control it which may worsen the corona crises in India. So. BCCI and government of India decided to organize IPL from September 19 to November 10 in UAE. UAE has nearly about 68k total cases out of which more than 57K have been recovered so far. So, it would be safer and more controlled to arrange IPL 2020 in UAE.

What is BIO-BUBBLE?

Helmet Safety Measures

Since the announcement has been made that IPL 2020 is likely to be held under norms of bio-bubble, all the IPL fans are quite curious about this new thing in the IPL. So, basically the main objective of Bio-bubble is to ensure the all-around safety of all the individuals present during the tournament by keeping them isolated from their family and fans to minimize the risk of infection.

Players are also not allowed to meet their family, friends or any visitors under the bio-bubble norms. The players have to land UAE a few weeks before the tournament starts so that they can isolate and practice well. The commentary is most likely to be held from India to avoid travels. It means the analysis of the match happening in UAE, is done in India.

Empty grounds and contact-less umpiring are other characteristics of Bio-bubble protocols. Contactless umpiring includes that, the players are not permitted to hand-over caps, sweaters, and other personal confederates to the umpire to decrease the contact between two individuals.

It is said that this bio-bubble lacks proper safety and security of staff and players. According to some legendary players, it is useful in short formats of the game like T20, but not in long formats like test cricket. But instead of no security and protocols, bio bubble works in favour of cricked and safety of players and support staff. The last match played between England west indies is performed under a bio-secure environment, and we have seen its effectiveness. The England player named Jofra archer breached the code of conduct by meeting his friend, is fined a handsome amount and also restricted to play for 5 days.
