Ayodhya is the city in Uttar Pradesh, India and it is the place where lord ram was born, and that is the reason why that place is known as "birthplace of Shri ram". Ayodhya formerly Awadh is one among the 7 best and essential pilgrimage places in India. At that place, once there was a temple of Lord Rama which was being destructed by Mughal emperor Babur to build Babri mosque. And there start a dispute regarding the temple and mosque in 1984 because Hindus wanted to rebuild the temple and Muslims not intends to demolish the mosque. The case was filed in the year 1950 and after those several hearings were organised and finally after 69 years the decision was made in the on 9, Nov 2019 by a 5-judge bench of the supreme court. After that, the court gave the land to trust to built the ram mandir there and also instructed to hand-over the 5 acres land for the construction of masjid.

Finally, it is said to be a dream come true for all the one who is waiting for this memorable moment for quite a long time and also this is one among the fair decision taken by the supreme court. So, within a few years, we will have ram mandir and Babri mosque at the same place, and this is the beauty of India. According to the architects, the Ayodhya temple will take nearly three and a half year and would consist of three storeys, and entirely made up according to vastushastra. The architect of ram temple has also built great Somnath temple, and they said this ram temple will be constructed in "Nagara style" by keeping the Shilpa shastra in mind.

The ram mandir will have 5 mandaps with one Shikhar in it. The first one is Garbhgriha, the second one is kudu mandap, third is Nritya Mandap, the fourth one is rand mandap, and on both the sides of the temple it includes kirtan mandap and prathna mandap. The ram temple in Ayodhya is heightened at 161 feet tall with an area of 20 acres. Ram temple also contains idols of Laxman, Bharat, Shatrughan. Robust stones from banshi mountains in Rajasthan will be used in the construction of ram temple. 70000 cubic feet stone was already exported to Ayodhya for development, whereas more 30000 cubics will be transferred sooner.

The honourable prime minister of India Mr Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on 5th of august at 12:30 pm to lay down the foundation stone for the temple. Due to the pandemic situation, only 200 people are allowed to attend the ceremony, and all the devotees are requested to have a glimpse of the temple digitally and they have been asked to follow the norms. All the houses and streets will be decorated with flowers and whopping 1 lakh earthen lamps would be lit up in the city as it is associated with light and brightness, and lord ram brings light in the life of the people who are harassed by the cruel behaviour of Ravana. The Ayodhya is all draped in colour yellow by the 70 students of Awadh university under the initiative named "paint my city". Also, there will be a drawing of lord Rama on the walls of the building to celebrate this auspicious event. This day is to be celebrated as Diwali before Diwali to cherish the groundbreaking ceremony on 5th of august.

This is the proud moment for all the Indians when lord Rama's 3D portraits, videos as well as images of the design of grand ram temple will be shown on the giant billboards of New York in the iconic times square to give the tribute to lord ram and to celebrate the stone laying ceremony. According to the president of the American India public affairs committee Jagdish sewhani told that these images will be displayed from 8am to 10pm on 5th of august.
